Synergy University Awards US$44,000 MBA Scholarship to 2 Female Leaders @ Global WIL Economic Forum
November 4th 2015, Dubai, UAE – Synergy University has provided two female graduates with a 100% scholarship to attend the Synergy’s Women’s Leadership MBA Program, each worth $US22,000.
Synergy University is Russia’s leading private university, offering innovative higher education to over 35,000 registered students on campuses located worldwide, including Russia, the UK, Singapore and the UAE. The university is a member of the International Association of Universities, and its MA and MBA programs are accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the UK. The Women in Leadership MBA program is a unique initiative in the MENA region, being one of few educational programs aimed at addressing the needs of women in business.
The scholarships were awarded to the two winners at the Global WIL Economic Forum held at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi on the 2nd and 3rd of November. The Forum, organized by multinational business facilitation company Naseba, is one of the region’s most prominent global economic platforms focused on female leaders. Over a two-day period, it brought together corporate leaders, gender parity advocates and change-makers from across the world.
The event featured a long list of distinguished speakers, including His Excellency Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, the UAE’s Minister of Economy, and Almas Jiwani, President of the UN Women Canada National Committee.
The scholarship award ceremony took place on the second day by Senior Professor of the SUDC Dr. Jaafar Bodwan.
The Woman of Action Scholarship was granted to Ms.Massa Omar Dalgamauni and
A Woman of Influence scholarship was awarded to Ms. Ajda Mustafova.
The scholarship program will empower these two young aspiring female leaders to not only pursue their own personal path to success, but also inspire and support other women within their communities. Both of the winners will be able to attend the MBA program at Synergy University’s Dubai Campus, the latest addition to the Synergy’s international footprint.
